GLOSSARY + BENEFITS 

 This Introduction offers a detailed look at the features and benefits of the OMNI SYSTEM components.  The Glossary terms will allow you to maximize your training and give you a common language to communicate efficiently with your coworkers during installations.
Saving Frustration, Time & Money
OMNI-CLIP™ & OMNI-LOCK™ SET: 
aka: "CLIP & LOCK SET" 
The CLIPS & LOCKS are the only components needed to attach a complete PEST PROTECTION SYSTEM.  The CLIP attaches to the PV frame and the LOCK attaches the Pest Fence to the clip.
BLACK-TIP 
CLIP & LOCK SET
aka: " BLACK SET" 
The necessary parts of the CLIP & LOCK SET are camouflaged in our proprietary "Shadow Black" color.  Making them nearly invisible when mounted with black PV frames/fence and viewed form the ground.
LONG & SHORT SPRING-CLAMP ARMS: aka: "The Arms" 
The LONG ARM (RED) reaches in deeper toward the outer edge for the PV panel and offers better grip on small frames.  The SHORT ARM (GREEN) (NO-BUMPS) is best for larger PV frames.
SLIDE-STOP BAR™: aka: "The STOPS" 
This SLIDE-STOP helps the installer know when the clip is properly positioned back against the outside of the PV frame to assure a tight fit of the fence. 
NOTE: This is also what makes the "click" sound/vibration possible as the clip is installed.
TACTILE ORIENTATION INDICATORS: aka: "The Bumps" 
By either looking or feeling for the bumps, an installer can quickly detect the orientation of the clip.  This allows Him/Her to quickly select the needed orientation for the best grip on the PV panel. 
NOTE: Even with work gloves on it is easy to tell with the touch of the your finger if it's "Bumps Up" or "Bumps Down".
PULL-START RECESS™: aka: "The Recess" 
The recess quickly positions the inner edge of the PV frame properly to allow the installer to simply pull the clip forward to lock it into place.
LOCKING-PIN-HOLES™ & CHANNEL-LOCK OPENING™: aka: "The Holes" 
The Holes & Opening offer options for attaching accessories.   Including  Pest Fence, Snow-Grip™, Lightning Guard™ and others.  NOTE: The Hole nearest the front entrance (#1) receives the OMNI_LOCK™ when mounting Pest-Fence (the Fence rests in hole #2).  NOTE: Holes #2 & 3 are primarily used for mounting the SNOW-GURAD™ & LIGHTNING GUARD™ Systems.

CHANNEL-LOCK OPENING™
A horizontal section of the PEST-FENCE is positioned into the back half of the CHANNEL-LOCK OPENING™ (Hole #2) then an OMNI-LOCK is inserted from the side into the outermost position (#1) to block the exit of the fence.

SLOT-LOCKS ™
SLOT-LOCKS™ offer three position options for attaching the SNOW-GRIP™ and LIGHTNING GUARD™ accessories. 
NOTE: Detailed instructions regarding the SLOT-LOCKS™ use are available upon request.
THREE-POINT-FINGER GRIP™ Option 1 of 2
On thin frame types, the Three-Point-Grip allows for a one hand grip and installation of the clip under the edge of the panel. 
NOTE: The installer simply pinches the center tab between two fingers; then pulls forward on the left & right tabs to "CLICK" it into place on the PV panel.
PULLING FORCE CONCENTRATOR™ 
aka: P.F.C.
aka: "OMNI TOOL"
The "PFC" allows the installer to use 4 fingers of pulling power, to conserve hand strength and gain mechanical advantage.   Offering a second fatigue-saving way to pull the OMNI-CLIPS™ into position (Particularly useful on thicker PV frames).  
NOTE: The installer simply slides the CHANNEL-LOCK-OPENING at the front of the CLIP onto the MOUNTING-RAIL of the PFC  and then positions the CLIP under the edge of the PV panel and pulls it into place.

OMNI-LOCK™ With EZ-GRIP-TAB™
The OMNI-LOCK™ is made from the same RustProof Alloy as the OMNI-CLIPS™ and is designed with the EZ-GRIP-TAB™ to allow the installer better grip with or without gloves on.  
NOTE: The lock is inserted in a horizontal orientation then it is rotated +- 900  to lock it into place.
SNOW-GRIP™
The SNOW-GRIP™ SNOW RETENTION System offers three height position options (The required height depends on the snow region, roof pitch & panel it is attached to).   
When attached with a CLIP & LOCK  this accessory mitigates the risk of a catastrophic avalanche event.
